I had a very pleasant stay at Blue Jay. I really appreciate how clean the property is. The washrooms, the rooms, the beds–everything is maintained well. The bed was really comfy, too. Also, there are plenty of bathrooms so even if the one in your dorm is occupied, there are many others you can use. The staff members were all very kind, helpful and polite. Location-wise, it's very central but at the same time a bit tucked away so it always felt peaceful there. There are some great cafés around, such as Dharma Swasthi. I really liked the common room as well, which offers some really comfy sofas and cushions to chill on.

I initially had a great experience during my first week at the hostel. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and the environment was perfect for responsible backpackers, which is why I decided to extend my stay for another week. However, my experience during the following weeks were quite different. After being shifted from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor, I noticed a lack of guidance provided to guests on maintaining hostel decorum. Some tourists, unfortunately, treated the shared space as if they had booked a private room. They would turn on the lights late at night, bang doors loudly, and leave the bathroom floor wet and dirty. Using their phones or talking loudly, disturbing others in the room. They would also leave the lights on and go to sleep. Sadly, most of these issues were caused by fellow Indian tourists specifically from delhi, which took away the charm of the hostel. There was little to no respect for others, and it felt as though they thought the entire room was theirs. I had originally planned to extend my stay for few week but decided against it due to the disruptive behavior of the other guests. I won’t be making the mistake of booking for an extended stay again.

I would like to highlight the staff’s exceptional hospitality. They were very accommodating, ensuring a smooth check-in process and doing their best to arrange an early check-in since I arrived quite early. The housekeeping staff deserves special mention they clean the rooms daily, ensure they smell fresh, and the floors are always well-mopped. The staff is available 24/7, always ready to assist. Having spent a good amount of time around Rishikesh, I can confidently recommend this hostel for its cleanliness, safety, and top-notch hospitality.

The Hostel is great . The people who work there have a key word: education. Very impressed by the way was clean by the staff and hold by management. Education and availability 24/7 was impressive. Also the ambient created and the guest were resembling the rest. All very good

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Blue Jay’s Hostels! The room was impeccably clean, the location was perfect, and the staff was incredibly polite and attentive. A special shoutout to Veer, who went above and beyond to help us and ensure we had the best experience possible. His dedication and kindness truly made our trip unforgettable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay. We’ll definitely be back

Staffs are funny and always helpful. I can feel relief and relax. Morning and night is cold in December, I ‘m happy they have a heater in the room. Everything you need cafe, yoga studio, groceries, restaurant, ATM is close to property.

The rooms were extremely well maintained and greatly impressed with their cleanliness. Thanks to the housekeeping team for maintaining clean linens and washrooms. They were exceptional in terms of their rooms and location.

To start with.. the Hostel is clean and beds in dorms are super comfy! The staff has a service attitude and is always helpful. The cafeteria serves delicious food, even though the items are menu are limited. The bunch of boys are always smiling and doing their work. The mornings and evenings at the cafeteria/terrace was beautiful and chilly with a pretty view. Do choose them!
